The permit is not a form but a dossier. This checklist lines up all the documents and requirements so you submit a complete file and meet the deadline. Note: requirements and deadlines differ per municipality, always check the APV (local by-laws) of your own municipality.
What's inside
Before you start
... plus 3 more phases in the download.
Rules, attachments and deadlines differ per municipality. This checklist is a starting point, not legal advice. Always check the current APV (local by-laws) and the requirements of your own municipality and safety region.
How to use it
Frequently asked questions
Yes. You can download it straight away, without an email address or account. Use it however you like for your own festival.
As a print-friendly A4 PDF, ready to print and tick off.
Absolutely. Treat it as a starting point: change the rows, amounts and items entirely to fit your scale, venue and programme.
The municipality usually wants a completed application form plus attachments: a safety plan, mobility plan, communication plan, site map, a risk assessment and the audience profile. Depending on your event, first aid provision, security, a sound plan and a waste plan are added to that. The exact requirements are set out in your municipality's APV (local by-laws).
Or let the system do it
In festival.productions your permit dossier does not live in a loose file but next to your budget, your crew and the event day. You change it in one place and it stays in sync everywhere.
